By registering health professionals and pharmacies, the Board has a responsibility to protect the public and takes this very seriously.
The public should have the confidence that Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists and Allied Health Professionals working in Gibraltar:
- Are properly qualified for their practice as laid down by law.
- Maintain their registration regularly as required by the law; and
- Practice at all times to standards of good practice in accordance with the professional guidance established by the Board.
The Board ensures these qualities, through its process of annual registration and investigation of complaints or referrals made to it by the public and/or official bodies.
